Q² DuraFlex is an advanced, two-ingredient, dual-layer coating designed to meet the requirements of Gyeon Certified Detailers. Q² Base coating provides a solid and excellent coating due to SiO2 being the hardest ever developed. It is a technological advance that requires only one level of application. On the other hand, Q² Flexi is a thick and extremely smooth layer that stands out for its excellence in gloss, hydrophobicity, self-cleaning and durability.
Q² Base our innovative silazane coating, has received a new formula! Almost 50 percent more concentrated, Q² Base V2 is designed to provide more brightness and durability with a single layer than most similar products on the market. The function of the product is to provide pure and durable protection, great chemical resistance with unparalleled reliability. It is not an independent coating, as Q² Base must be covered with a final layer, which in this case is Q² Flexi. The new Q² Base has great ease of use, making both application and removal a pure pleasure.
The Q² Flexi finish is a silicone-based finish developed to work best with the Q² base coating. It is extremely thick and bright. Q² Flexi is the slipperiest of all Gyeon coatings and offers highly durable repellency with supreme self-cleaning capabilities. It shares superhydrophobic properties with Q² DuraBead but creates a significantly different candy-like appearance.
Instructions:
It is recommended to apply one layer of Q² Base and, after 4 hours, one of Q² Flexi over this. This process ensures a super hydrophobic effect of water droplets and a maximum service life of up to 5 years. Like other Gyeon coatings, Q² DuraFlex is resistant to any type of chemical with a pH value between 2 and 11, which means that aggressive acids have little effect on this coating. It also offers excellent anti-graffiti properties.
