Two years of joint work by the R&D finding, the technical team and a small number of professionals worldwide has produced the EVO range of coatings, a concentrate of technology and innovative solutions to make the application of a nanotechnology coating simple and extremely high-performance. All of Gyeon’s EVO coatings enjoy extended durability, very high residency to chemistry, and low performance degradation over time. They can also be used outdoors in the absence of a box (but never in direct sunlight), without baking, are born to be applied in a single layer as well, and do not need any special application methods: crosswise, circularly, etc… they can be applied as you prefer! The coating should not get wet in the first 12 hours after application.
As with all Gyeon coatings, maintenance is the key to making the most of the coatings’ performance. Good maintenance can not only enable you to achieve maximum durations but can also allow you to go beyond the stated values. Gyeon has a wide range of products designed to maintain its nanotechnology treatments.

Q2 Matte is a unique, most advanced coating designed for matte surfaces: it enhances color depth without changing the finish. Q2 Matte is very easy to apply, and only one coat is needed. It is an extremely hydrophobic coating designed to last a very long time. Prevents discoloration and oxidation of surfaces, protects against harsh chemicals, salt and UV rays. Q2 Matte can be used on both paints and matte films. The coating is resistant to pHs between 2 and 11. Since Matte was designed from scratch from a blank sheet of paper, it offers incredible durability when compared to those not specifically designed for matte. Water gliding and self-cleaning performance have also been greatly improved over standard coatings. The silicon dioxide (SiO2)-based formula was specially developed to provide total protection from UV rays and chemicals. The service life of Q2 Matte is 24 months/30,000 km.
Instructions:
After washing, decontaminating and, if necessary, polishing the car, thoroughly clean all surfaces being treated with Q2M Prep. Apply a generous amount of product to the short-haired side of the supplied applicator. Spread the coating on the surface. Gyeon EVO coatings are forgiving and allow even rather large areas to be treated in one go (a hood, a door, etc…). The application can be performed in circular, rectilinear to intersecting ways. There are no fixed rules, the only one is to cover the whole surface evenly. After 1-3 minutes remove with a Q2M BaldWipe microfiber cloth. Alternatively, an initial removal can be done with the “long” side of the applicator to remove an initial amount of product and then finish with Q2M BaldWipe.
